I thought for sure after the comeback game of the decade that the momentum shifted in the Cards favor. I mean the momentum of the series. After the last couple of years, these types of comebacks seem commonplace. I thought they really had a shot. However, they didn't step up. Too bad.
Yeah, the Astros scared me going in. The worst thing to have to face in the playoffs is a team with three great pitchers. They just shut us down, Oswalt especially.
Would love to see Cardinal management go after him...
Ah, well. Since we can't send off old Busch with a Series title, I guess we'll just have to christen the new Busch with one. :)
As for the Astros vs the White Socks, gotta be the Stros all the way. They've got it all going on right now.

Except for a couple of teams, is it just me or do the playoffs seem like a repeat year after year. Red Sox and Yankees, and Braves and Cardinals.

I WILL be cheering (with reservations) for the Cardinals. If the Cubs can't be in it, I have to go with the division.
Before any Cub bashing starts... I do revel in the fact that we did win the series this year 10-6.
